Professional Pianist Filippo Ceccherini joins Dodeka
Posted on March 23, 2018
We are very pleased to announce that Filippo Ceccherini joins Dodeka as Chief Musical Officer.
Graduated from Luigi Cherubini Conservatory of Music in Florence, Filippo Ceccechirini is a professional and talented pianist with more than 28 years of experience in various contexts and a large musical repertoire from classical music to jazz, bossanova, tango and many more. For now a few years, Filippo has been teaching piano to different ages and skill levels in several schools in Paris.
Passionate about finding new ways to teach music to children, Filippo, who previously specialised in the Music Moves for Piano method, is today willing to move to Dodeka’s innovative music method and wants to start working towards what he calls “lowering the barriers and difficulties younger musicians may face when learning how to play music”.
At Dodeka, Filippo will be involved in developing all the musical and educational parts of Dodeka, including musical contents, learning resources and educational aspects. In particular, Filippo will start a series of educational videos to teach the basics on how to play the piano with Dodeka alternative music notation. So, get ready for some great and quality videos to be released soon on our youtube channel and don't forget to subscribe to it.
We hope you are as excited as we are about this new collaboration.
In the meantime, feel free to check Filippo's own youtube channel here.
** We are currently working on the Dodeka Music Library project, which seeks to translate as many sheet music as possible into the Dodeka notation. Check out our progress and get early access to the first ever Dodeka music library. **
